John Compton came to my home. He answered my questions, and gave me an estimate.I excepted it.What I observed of the Chip & seal process.
First step.) Preparing Surface ( grading to flat and level).Second step.} Spraying tar onto the surface.Third step.) a thin layer of gravel is applied over the tar .Fourth step.) Roll surface (compact it)_ They repeat steps two to step four again for a total of two complete surface coating.
In my opinion,I like it …Job well done.

It was a pleasure to work with Compton's Asphalt. From my first contact with them they provided a timely quote and put my project on the schedule right away. John was very easy to talk with and he answered all my questions about what would be done and how my driveway would be taken care off. The crew that showed up was polite, worked efficiently and quickly and cleaned up our property when done. The bill was presented politely with explanation on how to handle the first few days with our new driveway and to call if there is any troubles. I feel this was a great upgrade to our home and would suggest it to anyone that wants an alternative to just a stone driveway.
